Chief of Staff
Ray Colabawalla
"Hey everyone, my name is Ray Colabawalla, ‘25, and I will be the ASG Chief of Staff for this year. In the past year, I served as VP for the Class of 2025 where we worked on community-building events. This year in my new role I will be looking forward to advocating for my fellow students, addressing their concerns earnestly, and being transparent in communication. I will continue to work with organizations and clubs on campus to bring the best possible college experience to my peers. A particular goal that I would like to accomplish would be to build upon Gatorcon from last year. Additionally, I would also like to involve the student body more in ASG and would encourage students to join college committees or other avenues to stay involved. Outside of ASG, I am a Political Science and Economics double major and Computer Science Minor. I am also a Resident Advisor and part of the Rugby and Model UN clubs on campus. In my off time, I like to hang out with my friends and be outdoors.
Fun fact: I am an international student from Abu Dhabi, UAE!"

Director of Sustainability & Environmental Affairs
Haley Hersh
"My name is Haley Hersh (she/her/hers) and I am so excited to be the Director of Sustainability and Environmental Affairs. I am also part of Psi Chi, the Allegheny Cheer Team, and the Allegheny College Dance Team. In my free time I love to walk around campus, bother other people’s pets, paint, and play video games. Among the goals I hope to achieve are providing sturdy grocery bags for every student in order to curb plastic bag usage from stores, holding E-waste drives which can allow for the repurposing of the precious metals in electronics opposed to mining for more, and campus-wide composting which would turn food scraps into nutrients for soil, thus sending less waste to landfills and reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers. If you have any ideas/questions/concerns or want to discuss anything regarding campus sustainability, feel free to email me."

Besides my position as Director of Organizational Development for ASG, my main on-campus involvement this year is working as a Senior Editor on The Allegheny Review and working as a student office worker in Quigley Hall. My hobbies when I'm not working include playing video games, crocheting, reading, writing, and spending time with my dog, who you may often spot me out and about with!"
