Mission Statement

As the Senate for the class of 2021, we will strive to be a binding force between the Allegheny College’s campus through transparency and inclusion to represent the ideas and needs of its students.

President

Emma Zurowski

Communications & Press Committee

Hello everyone! My name is Emma Zurowski and I am a Junior here at Allegheny. I am from Buffalo, New York, so obviously I am a fierce Bills fan! Here on campus, I am a Global Health Studies major and Chemistry minor. This is my first year serving on the Allegheny Student Government and I am thrilled to serve as the President of the Class of 2021, as well as the Press Secretary for the Communications and Press Committee. Some other things I am involved in on campus are Fraternity and Sorority life, as a sister of Delta Delta Delta, I am the President of Ski and Snowboard Club, and the Campus and Community Engagement Chair for Up Til Dawn.

As your Class President, I will be working towards creating open communication with the campus community to ensure every voice on campus is being heard. Transparency between the Student Government and our campus is another important aspect that will be upheld this year as well! Let’s have a great year Gators!

Vice President

Aimee Verardi

Rules Committee

Hi! My name is Aimee Verardi and I am thrilled to serve as an ASG Vice President for Class of 2021! I am a Junior from Pittsburgh with an intended major in Chemistry as well as a minor in Economics. Additionally, I am pursuing the Pre-Health track with plans of becoming a Pharmacist. Aside from ASG, I am proud member of the Women’s Swimming and Diving team. This year, I hope to represent my class’s interests and voices through ASG. If you see me on campus - there’s a chance it’s my twin sister but still feel free to give a wave!

Senator

Anna Verardi

Finance Committee

Hi, my name is Anna Verardi, and I am from Pittsburgh, PA.  Here at Allegheny, I am studying chemistry major with a minor in economics.  Additionally, I am a member of the Women’s Swim & Dive Team, a writing consultant for the Maytum Learning Commons, and a Resident Advisor in Caflisch Hall.

Senator

Emma Godel

Student Affairs Committee

Hi again! My name’s Emma and I’m so excited to serving my third consecutive year on the ASG Senate! I’m a political science major from South Berwick, ME (odd combo of rural and greater Boston culture) and I hope to study secondary education policy following graduation. Outside of ASG meetings, I’m a Center for Political Participation (CPP) Fellow, a sister of Alpha Delta Pi, and a certified band geek always at a rehearsal.

My #1 job as a member of student government is to maintain as transparent and interactive of an environment as humanly possible—I encourage you to discuss any changes you’d like to see on campus with ASG. Participation is key and I can’t wait to see what we’re going to accomplish this year!
