Class of 2023

Mission Statement

The Class of 2023 Senate shall strive to develop a sense of community in our daily lives at Allegheny College. We are committed towards academic excellence, civic engagement, and more inclusive campus in hopes of a better future.

Peter Alegre

Student Affairs Committee

Hi all! My name is Peter Alegre and a freshman as part of the Class of 2023. I'm from Queens, New York although I went to high school in The Bronx. I'm currently leaning to be an Environmental Science major.

I am also a part of several other activities on campus aside from ASG. I'm in Law & Policy, GAP, Outing Club, a Bonner Leader, among others. I also love to go bouldering, service in my community, and (trying) to be a funny and friendly individual.

I am your representative so please come to me with any of your concerns. I look forward to hearing from you, even if you just want to talk. See y'all around!

Vice President

Lucas Biniewski

Finance Committee

Hello! My name is Lucas Biniewski and I hail from Buffalo, New York (#gobills). I plan on majoring in Communicans and International Studies with a minor in Environmental Science. In high school, I served on Student Government all 4 years with various titles and roles. I was also heavily involved in the arts too. I hope to make an impact on the Allegheny College Community, and am honored to be serving as the 2019-2020 Class of 2023 Vice President!

Andi Reiser

Diversity & Inclusion Committee

I am Andi Reiser and I am senator for the Class of 2023 for the 2019-2020 school year! I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which is only an hour and a half away from Campus. Here at Allegheny, I am involved in the Law & Policy program, which is something that is very important to me, as my career aspirations include woking in Law & Politics. I hope to work to give the freshman a voice, greater sustainability on campus, and greater push to stop the stigma surrounding mental health on campus.

Bennett Westfall

Rules Committee

My name is Bennett Westfall. I am a senator for the class of 2023 during the 2019-2020 school year. I am from Fort Worth, Texas. I am currently thinking about majoring in International Studies or Political Science and minoring in French. At Allegheny, I am also involved in International Club. I am hoping to work for increasing dorm living standards and lowering the price of Allegheny. I also want to increase communication between students and administration, because that is the best way to ease tension and improve the lives of everyone on campus.

Bree Gray

Community Relations Committee

Hey everyone! My name is Bree Gray, and I am your senator this year! I am from Washington, PA and I intend on majoring in Global Health and aspire to volunteer with the Peace Corps following my commencement. This year, I am on both the Community Relations Committee and the Textbook Reduction Committee for ASG. Aside from ASG, I am a member of Access Allegheny, AERO, GAP, Mock Trial, Overkill, and Pre-Health Club. Also, I am training to become an EMT for Vernon Township and I am the Social Media Coordinator for the Department of Modern and Classical Languages. This year, I will make strives towards destigmatizing mental health, improving the overall quality of life in the dormitories, and renovation of the restroom facilities. If you have additional ideas that you would like to have represented, feel free to contact me:

I look forward to meeting with all of you and I hope that you reach out if you need me! My door is always open and if I am not in the dorm I have a “Where is Bree?” chart that will tell you where I am. Together we can and will make a better version of ourselves and our community. Here’s to our first year!
