Senator
Lorenzo Scarnati
"Hello! My name is Lorenzo Scarnati (he/him), and I’m a senator for Allegheny’s Class of 2026! Before moving to Allegheny, I lived in Neshannock Township, Pennsylvania, for eighteen years. During that time, I participated in an extremely wide variety of activities, most notably being an
Eagle Scout, a member of the National Honor Society, our class secretary, our cross country team captain, and a member of our marching band’s leadership council.
So far, I have been actively involved with SEA, AGES, ARGO, SPS, and the Allegheny College Choir. I also work with the amazing staff in the Campus Center’s Student Life suite! My hobbies include Minecraft architecture, fawning over soft pop artists, goofing off with good
friends, and collecting neat knicknacks. I enjoy getting to know people, and love helping others in any way I can. Feel free to get in touch with me to talk about your interests, problems, solutions, life—anything! A wide array of subjects interest me, and I have yet to declare a major or minor. I have specific interests in physics, energy, and music; art, communications, environmental science, math, and
sustainability also interest me, though not to the same degree. Anyway, back home, I exemplified the best characteristics of my school and community—as a
Gator, I plan to continue my legacy. Now a member of the senate, I will represent the best qualities of my class by upholding qualities of leadership, service, honor, integrity, and inclusivity. In essence, I earnestly and wholly want to help you, so please, get in touch with me!"
